Raj B. Shetty to make new movie with ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe’ team

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: Renowned director and actor Raj B. Shetty, known for his work in both Sandalwood and Mollywood, is set to announce a new film.

Raj B. Shetty has already established himself as an accomplished director and actor in Sandalwood. His acting prowess has also garnered appreciation in Mollywood. Recently, he received accolades for his strong role in the movie ‘Turbo’ alongside Mammootty.

Raj B. Shetty’s films attract a distinct audience. His debut directorial film, ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe,’ was released in 2017 and received positive feedback beyond expectations. Following this, in 2021, he directed and played a leading role in ‘Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana.’

His work in ‘Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye’ was also well-received for both his acting and direction.

Raj B. Shetty has announced that he will be collaborating again with the team of ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe’ for his next film. He shared this information during an Instagram live session.

He said, “We started making films in Mangalore. When we made ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe,’ our goal was to bring a good story to many people. ‘Mango Pickle Entertainment’ produced the film. My team and I made that film, which became a hit beyond expectations. Our belief is to tell a good story that the audience will accept.

“In that direction, we are bringing another film. ‘Mango Pickle Entertainment’ is producing it. This is the second film under this banner. I will share the poster tomorrow,” Raj B Shetty said.

“This film will be one that I can be very proud of in my career. Instead of making money with a commercial story, we will make a good film. The audience should decide how commercially successful it should be based on its quality. We will announce the name and poster of the film tomorrow at 4 PM. My team and I are presenting this film. As always, I hope for your love and support,” he further added.

Raj B. Shetty has not yet revealed who will direct the film.

‘Ondu Motteya Kathe’ was produced by Pawan Kumar and Srujan Prasad. The film starred Raj B. Shetty, Usha Bhandari, Shailashree, Prakash Thuminad, Shreya Anchan, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Vijay Vinayak among others.
