Aranthodu: Man dies after slipping and dalling into rivulet

Aranthodu: A man died after slipping and falling into a rivulet in Bajinadka village here on Friday morning.

The deceased, identified as Chaniya (50) from Bajinadka, slipped and fell into the river near his house at around 7 AM.

When family members saw Chaniya fall into the river, they shouted for help. Former Gram Panchayat President Mansa Mugera heard the cries and rushed to the scene, diving into the water to rescue Chaniya. Unfortunately, Chaniya had already passed away by the time he was pulled from the water.

Following the incident, the body was taken to Sullia Government Hospital.
