Renowned actor Darshan, who is currently imprisoned in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, has made a heartfelt appeal to his fans. Through the jail authorities, he has conveyed a message urging his fans not to visit the jail, as the rules do not permit such visits. Darshan has expressed that it is unnecessary for fans to come to the jail and wait in vain only to be turned away disappointed.
In a statement to the jail officials, Darshan mentioned his concern over the recent visit attempt by a differently-abled young woman, Soumya. He expressed his regret that she had to return without meeting him.
Hundreds of fans, including many differently-abled individuals, have been gathering near the jail, hoping to catch a glimpse of the actor. One dedicated fan, Suryakant from Yadgir district, traveled approximately 500 kilometers on his three-wheeled cycle to reach the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. However, he too was denied the opportunity to meet Darshan.
Additionally, a young woman claimed Darshan as part of her family but was also not granted permission to visit him, according to jail sources.
