Bantwal: Accident victim succumbs to injuries

Bantwal: A 74-year-old man who had been seriously injured in a road mishap at Mogarnad about 4.5 months ago breathed his last on June 30.

The deceased, Dharnappa Kulal, a resident of Narikombu village, had been injured in an accident on February 14. Dharnappa was standing by the roadside when a bike collided with him, causing severe injuries. Despite prolonged treatment, there was no improvement in his health, and he was brought home a month ago.

A case was registered at the Bantwal traffic police station regarding the incident.

Dharnappa was a well-known bhajan singer and was recognized as a progressive farmer.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, and two sons.
