Ulaibettu dacoity case: 8 people detained by police?

Mangaluru: The police have reportedly cracked the case of armed robbery case at businessman Padmanabha Kotian’s house in Ulaibettu Permanki, Mangaluru.

Sources said that police have taken into custody eight individuals, including some from Kerala.

Among those detained are some locals, though the police have not made an official statement yet.

On the night of June 21, about ten robbers wielding knives tied up the family, and looted cash, jewelry, and other valuables worth around Rs. 9 lakhs.
