Vijayapura raft accident: Rescue operation concludes with recovery of all victims

Vijayapura: The body of Rafiq, one of the five individuals who went missing in a River raft accident on the Krishna River, was recovered on Thursday, marking the conclusion of the rescue operation.
The incident occurred on the evening of July 2nd, when a raft sank, resulting in five people going missing. So far, three bodies had been found, with the remaining two recovered on Thursday.
The body of Mahiboob Valikara was discovered floating on the banks of the river early Thursday morning, during the search operation that began at 6 am. The body of Rafiq Bombay was also found shortly thereafter.
With these discoveries, all five individuals missing from the Baluti Krishna River raft disaster have been confirmed dead. The victims have been identified as Pundaleeka Yankanchi, Tayyaba Chaudhary, Dasharath Gowda, Mahiboob Valikara, and Rafiq Bombay.
A dedicated team of 30 personnel from the fire service stations conducted the search operation, utilizing five mechanized boats to locate the missing persons following the tragic accident near Baluti
