Udupi wind and rain damage: Minister calls for swift response

Bengaluru: District in-charge Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has been apprised of the damage caused by wind and rain in various parts of Udupi district and has called for immediate action.

While in Bangalore, ahead of a Cabinet meeting, Minister Hebbalkar discussed the current situation in Udupi with local officials via phone. She was briefed on the extent of the damage in several areas, including Amavasye Bayal.

The Minister instructed officials to promptly visit the affected sites, report back on the situation, and implement necessary corrective measures. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of informing residents about precautionary measures to ensure their safety.
