Holiday declared for schools and PUCs in Dakshina Kannada for July 9

Mangaluru: Due to heavy rainfall in the coastal region, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared a holiday for schools and PUCs in the district.
Anganwadis, schools, and pre-university (PU) colleges in Dakshina Kannada on July 9 for the safety of the students.
Mangaluru Tahsildar issued orders declaring the holiday on Sunday late evening.
Continuous rainfall has been reported in the coastal areas of the district, and the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning.
