Mangaluru police detained ‘Chaddi gang’?

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru police have taken custody of the ‘Chaddi Gang,’ a group suspected of committing theft and robbery in two parts of Mangaluru, informed sources.
According to sources, the gang members attacked homeowners in Kotekani, Mangaluru, and stole gold ornaments. They then traveled to Mulki in the car stolen from the same house, returned to Mangaluru by bus, and were en route to Bengaluru when they were arrested in Sakaleshpur.
The ‘Chaddi Gang’ is notorious for carrying out thefts and robberies dressed in underwear and vests. The gang members are reportedly from states like Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
