Mangaluru: The Chaddi Gang from Madhya Pradesh, which had been arrested for a robbery in Mangaluru, had traveled from Bengaluru to commit the crime. After the robbery, they were returning to Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, informed Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal.

The same gang has been involved in several theft and robbery cases in Bengaluru, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. One of the accused, Raju, has ten cases against him. This is a professional gang of robbers. It has been confirmed that the same gang was responsible for the recent theft in Kodikal, Mangaluru. Fingerprint analysis will be used to gather information on crimes this gang may have committed across the country, the commissioner said.
