Uppinangadi: A tailor in Uppinangadi has been left bewildered by the false rumours circulating about him winning Rs 1 crore in Kerala state lottery prize.
As per the rumours, a tailor named Koosappa, who works near Ganapati Mutt on Rathabheedi had received Rs 70 lakh prize money in his bank account after a tax deduction of Rs 30 lakh.
The false news was so convincing that Koosappa started receiving congratulatory messages and requests for help from various people. However, when media personnel contacted him for comments, Koosappa clarified that he had not won any lottery prize.
“I have not won any lottery. I don’t understand how these rumors. I am tired of the phone calls to congratulate me,” Koosappa said.
