B’luru: Man held for stealing gold from mother-in-law’s house

Rajagopalnagar Police arrested a man for allegedly stealing jewelry from his mother-in-law’s house and recovered 70 grams of gold worth Rs 3.8 lakhs.

The arrested identified as Parashuram (29) was apprehended from near Atria Hotel on Lagere Main Road.

Nagamma, a resident of Laggere had married her daughter to the accused Parashuram. Parashuram was unemployed.

On July 6, Nagamma and her daughter went to the temple. Taking advantage of their absence, the accused stole 70 grams of gold jewelry from the house and fled.

Upon returning home, the mother and daughter discovered the theft and filed a complaint at the Rajagopalnagar police station.
