Sullia: Controversy over alleged Guru Puja by RSS at govt school

Sullia: A controversy has arisen over allegations of a Guru Puja conducted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a government school, with the incident’s photos going viral and a complaint filed with the department.

The alleged incident took place at the Karimbola Government Lower Primary School in Edamangala village, Kadaba taluk. The event reportedly occurred inside a classroom, where the school’s name was visible on the blackboard.

Participants of the event posted photos on WhatsApp statuses, leading to public outcry.

A complaint was lodged with the education department and district authorities regarding the RSS event held inside the school despite a government circular prohibiting public events within school premises. It is reported that an explanation has been sought from the headteacher.
