Renowned film producer, writer, and theatre artist Sadananda Suvarna has passed away. Originally from Mulki, he had resided in Mumbai for a long time. In recent years, he had been suffering from age-related health issues and breathed his last on July 16.
Suvarna had a distinguished career in Kannada theatre spanning several years. He was known for his contributions to the stage with popular plays such as “Dharmachakra,” “Suli,” “Donkubala,” “Court Martial,” and “Urulu.” His television series “Guddeda Bhoota” was widely appreciated and gained significant acclaim on Doordarshan.
Additionally, his film “Ghatashraddha” received the prestigious Swarna Kamal award.
