Mangalorean musician Reuben Machado performed at the Ambani wedding

Mangaluru: Reuben Machado, a musician from the city, was part of the flute symphony at the wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant held at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre.
Reuben Machado, a resident of Derebail in Mangaluru, was the only flute player from Karnataka invited to the wedding ceremony. He had the opportunity to be part of the ‘Flute Symphony,’ a group of 25 Indian flute players led by the renowned flautist Ashwin Srinivasan.
Speaking to ‘Udayavani’ about this, Reuben said, “I have been a background musician specializing in flute and various other genres for the past 10 years and conduct classes. I met Ashwin Srinivasan during an event in Bengaluru. He offered me the opportunity to participate in the Ambani event. After a week of continuous practice in Mumbai, we performed at the reception held on the evening of July 13.”
Reuben expressed his gratitude and excitement about being part of such a prestigious event and showcasing his talent on a significant platform.
