In the Renukaswamy murder case in Chitradurga, it has been revealed that the 14th accused, Pradosh, recorded a 5 to 10-second video on his mobile phone during the murder. This information has been obtained by the police.
During the assault on Renukaswamy at the Pattangere shed, it was discovered that Pradosh recorded the video following the instructions of the main accused, Darshan. After recording the video, Pradosh deleted it. However, the Kamakshipalya police are now searching for the mobile phone used to record the video. If the police find the mobile, it could serve as strong evidence against Darshan, as it allegedly shows Darshan attacking Renukaswamy.
The police have retrieved several mobile numbers and fake SIM cards from the accused, uncovering various details about the incident. Some of the accused have confessed that the assault was carried out under Darshan’s instructions, according to investigative sources.
In related news, actor Darshan, who is currently in jail, has filed a petition seeking permission for home-cooked meals due to health concerns from consuming jail food. Darshan’s lawyer, Shashikumar, submitted the petition in the 24th ACMM court on Saturday. The court has adjourned the hearing to Monday for further consideration.
