Karnataka landslide: One more body found, death toll rises to eight

The body of a woman who went missing in the Shiroor landslide was found on Tuesday, July 23 morning, bringing the total death toll from the incident to eight.
The deceased is believed to be from Ulvare village and the body was found in the Gangavali river in a decomposed state.
A woman from this village had been reported missing, and the family is yet to confirm the identity of the body.
Efforts are underway to identify the woman based on the bangles on her wrist and the color of her clothing.
Meanwhile, the search for Arjun, who went missing after the landslide in Shiroor, continues.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had handed over satellite visuals of the area where Arjun went missing. The visuals, taken at 6 am on the day of the landslide, did not show any trace of Arjun or his lorry.
