Heavy Rain: Holiday for schools in Udupi’s Hebri Taluk

Udupi: In the backdrop of district experiencing heavy rains, the Tahsildars of Kundapura and Byndoor have directed Block Education Officers (BEOs) to grant leave to schools if needed, considering the safety and convenience of students and the school environment.

In Hebri taluk, a holiday has been declared for students of Anganwadi, primary, high schools, and pre-university colleges on Friday, July 26.

However, classes will continue as usual for students of all other colleges, postgraduate courses, diploma, engineering, and ITI, according to a release by the Hebri Tahsildar.
