Bengaluru: Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy experienced a heavy nosebleed during a joint press conference held after a meeting organized by opposition parties JD(S) and BJP to strategize against the Siddaramaiah government over the MUDA and Valmiki scandals.
On Sunday (July 28), BJP and JD(S) leaders held a meeting at a private hotel in Bengaluru to discuss a padayatra (foot march) from Bengaluru to Mysuru in response to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s alleged involvement in the MUDA case. During the press conference that followed, Kumaraswamy suddenly began bleeding from his nose.
Despite repeatedly wiping his nose with a cloth, the bleeding did not stop, and it intensified, staining his white shirt with blood. This caused some alarm, and his son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, immediately took him to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar.

Doctors at Apollo Hospital informed that Kumaraswamy is receiving treatment. Given his history of stroke and heart surgery, he might be on blood-thinning medication. A thorough examination will provide more details, they added.
