Red alert: Schools, PUCs get holiday for July 31 in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: A holiday has been declared for all schools and PU Colleges in Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday, July 31.

A red alert has been issued for Dakshina Kannada district, cautioning about extremely heavy rain and strong winds.

As a precautionary measure, the district administration has declared a holiday for Anganwadis, primary, high schools, and pre-university colleges.

The district administration has advised residents to remain vigilant.
