Mangaluru: City bus crew save student’s life with swift action

Mangaluru: The quick thinking and timely action of a city bus driver and conductor in Mangaluru saved the life of a college student who experienced severe chest pain and symptoms of a heart attack when traveling on their bus.
The incident occurred on the 13F route bus, operated by Krishna Prasad, which was traveling via Kuloor. Upon noticing the student’s distress, driver Gajendra Kunder, conductor Mahesh Poojari, and helper Suresh took immediate action. They stopped the bus and, treating the situation with urgency, transported the student directly to a Hospital in Kankanady in an ambulance-like manner.
The student was promptly admitted to the intensive care unit for urgent medical attention. The swift and compassionate response of the driver and conductor has been widely praised for their humanitarian care and efficiency.
