Nine held for possession of narcotic drugs in Kerala

KOCHI: Nine people, including a woman, were arrested from an apartment near Kochi for allegedly possessing banned narcotics, police said on Saturday.

The accused, all in their 20s, were picked up from an apartment in nearby Kakkanad on Friday night.

According to the FIR, a total of 13.52 gm MDMA, a banned drug, was seized.

They were arrested under Section 22 (c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985, it said.
