Kaup: Businessman Kaup Kamalaksha Nayak passes away

Kaup: Businessman Kaup Kamalaksha Nayak (71), passed away at his residence on the morning of August 13.

He is survived by his son, Anupoorvi Group of Institutions founder Harish Nayak, and his daughter Lakshmi Mohandas Shenoy.

Nayak was the proprietor of Kaup Lakshmi General Stores. He was involved in social and religious activities, serving as the honorary president of the Nagamoola Temple in the Nayak family and as a member of the management board of the Venkatramana Temple and the Old Mariyamma Temple in Kaup.

Several prominent figures expressed their condolences, including Kaup MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, and others.

The final rites will be held at his residence in Kaup at 10.30 AM on August 13.
