Udupi: In a remarkable display of quick thinking, an eight-year-old boy saved his father after he collapsed and became unconscious at their home in Doddanagudde. The father, Ajay, and his son, Diyan, were residing in a house without electricity.

On Monday evening, Ajay suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness. Realizing his father’s helpless state, young Diyan immediately rushed to a neighbor’s house in the dark to inform them of the situation.

The neighbors promptly rushed to the scene, assessed the situation, and informed social worker Nityananda Olakadu.

Nityananda quickly arranged for Ajay to be transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Social worker Jyoti also came to assist, and she provided shelter for young Diyan at her home.
