MUDA Case: Congress to Hold Demonstrations in Mangaluru and Udupi

Udupi/Mangaluru: The Congress party is set to hold massive protests in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on August 19, 2024. The demonstrations are in response to the Governor granting permission to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

In Udupi, the protest meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 AM near the Oscar Fernandes Circle in Brahmagiri. Following the meeting, a vehicle rally will proceed towards the Deputy Commissioner’s office, where a memorandum will be submitted, informed District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor.

In Mangaluru, the protest march will start at 10:30 AM from the Brahmashree Narayana Guru Circle at Ladyhill. The march will proceed towards the Mahatma Gandhi statue in front of the Corporation office at Lalbagh, where a protest meeting will be held, according to District President Harish Kumar.
