Udupi Sri Krishna Masotsava: Cultural Extravaganza of Dance, Music, and Traditional Art Forms

Udupi: The Sri Krishna Janmashtami Masotsava, organized under the auspices of Paryaya Sri Puthige Sri Krishna Matha, showcased a grand cultural spectacle at Rajangana.
As part of the Hayagriva Jayanti celebrations, various competitions were held for school students. The winners were felicitated by Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada and Sri Sushritndra Theertha Sripada of Paryaya Puthige Matha.
The cultural program included a mesmerizing dance drama titled “Hayagriva Namana,” presented by Darpan School of Performing Arts at Rajangana. In collaboration with the Kannada and Culture Department, a musical ensemble titled “Sapta Veena Lahari,” directed by V. Pavana B. Acharya from Vipanchi Group, captivated the audience. Additionally, a traditional “Tala Maddale” performance of “Sudarsana Vijaya” was conducted by the Surathkal Tadambail Shri Durgamba Yakshagana Mandali at Madhva Mantapa.
