Mandya: A man’s body was recovered from a lake on Wednesday, August 21, a day after his wife Swathi was found dead, hanging in their home.
The deceased Mohan from Gaddehosuru village in K.R. Pete taluk reportedly committed suicide by jumping into a lake. It is suspected that Mohan may have taken his own life out of fear and despair following his wife’s death.
Mohan and his parents went missing after Swathi’s family members accused them of Swathi’s murder. On Wednesday morning, Mohan’s body was found in a nearby lake. The exact cause of Swathi’s death remains unclear, and Mohan’s parents are still missing.
Police from the Kikkeri station visited the scene and are investigating the matter.
