Parkala: Accident victim succumbs to injuries at hospital

A pedestrian who was injured in an accident between a car and an auto-rickshaw at the turn leading to 80th Badagubettu junction and Mahalingeshwara Temple on National Highway 169A passed away at the hospital on Thursday (August 22).
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Shettigar, a former employee of MIT. He had sustained serious injuries in the accident that occurred three days ago.
During the collision between the car and the auto-rickshaw, Shettigar, who was walking by, was struck by the auto-rickshaw. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite receiving treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
Shettigar is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. He was also actively involved in the BJP party.
