Harinarayana Das Asranna honored Eshwarappa during his visit.

Speaking to media persons, Eshwarappa said that the Kambala event will be held in Shivamogga this time. He expressed his joy in introducing this traditional Tulu Nadu folk sport, which has also taken on a spiritual significance, to the people of Shivamogga. He mentioned around 10 lakh people are expected to attend the event.

Kantesh, Eshwarappa’s son and the president of the Shivamogga Kambala Committee, stated that plans are afoot to organize the event on a grand scale. “We have identified approximately 15 acres of land for the event. Separate arrangements are being made for parking,” he said.
