Kundapura: Renowned Telugu film star Junior NTR, along with his family, visited the Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple on September 1. The actor performed special rituals and offered prayers to the deity. Accompanying him were his mother, Shalini Bhaskar Rao, who hails from Kundapura, his wife, and Kannada actor Rishab Shetty, along with his wife. Director Prashanth Neel and actor Pramod Shetty were also present during the visit.

In recognition of his visit, the temple’s Executive Officer, Prashanth Kumar Shetty, honored Junior NTR on behalf of the temple administration. Following the prayers, the actor and his family offered special rituals to Lord Veerabhadra and other deities.

Junior NTR expressed his appreciation for the significance of the Kollur temple and mentioned that the visit was made in fulfillment of his mother’s wish to visit both Udupi and Kollur temples.

Later, on the same day, Junior NTR and Rishab Shetty visited the Sri Keshavanatheshwara Cave Temple in Moodugallu, Keradi. The temple, known for its unique natural beauty, is located within a cave and offers a distinct spiritual experience. The actors, who traveled from Kollur to Keradi, were particularly impressed by the temple’s natural surroundings and the serene environment.

The Sri Keshavanatheshwara Cave Temple is a marvel of nature, with the cave itself serving as Lord Shiva’s sanctum. Inside the temple, there is a spacious area of around 20-30 feet filled with water, inhabited by various types of fish. The experience of standing in the water, offering prayers, and being surrounded by the fish is said to provide a unique and mystical feeling. The temple is illuminated solely by the divine light of the deity’s lamp, adding to the sanctified atmosphere.
