Selection trials for U-16 Mangalore zone cricket team announced

Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Mangalore Zone has announced selection trials for the Under-16 men’s cricket team. The trials will take place at the 22 Yards indoor cricket facility, located in Saibeen Complex, Lalbagh, Mangaluru.

The selection schedule is as follows:

  • Kodagu District: Sunday, September 8, 2024. Players should report at 9:00 AM.
  • Udupi District: Monday, September 9, 2024. Players should report at 8:00 AM.
  • Dakshina Kannada District: Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Players should report at 8:00 AM.

Eligibility for the trials is limited to those born on or after September 1, 2008. However, players under 14 years of age will not be permitted to participate, the press release said.

Interested players are required to report at the venue in full cricket whites and shoes. They must also bring their original date of birth certificate along with a photocopy, the release added.
