A letter issued by the Tulaseevana Shri Siddhi Vinayak Trust Committee in Bolantur, Bantwal, during the recent Ganeshotsav procession has sparked a debate, leading to discussions and mixed reactions.

The letter requested the mosque not to distribute sweets and drinks during the procession. The committee cited an incident from last year when some children from their community fell ill after consuming the food offered during the procession.
