An unknown individual entered an elderly woman’s house under the guise of selling bed sheets near Shyam Sadan in Ambalpadi, Udupi. A complaint has been filed at the Udupi City Police Station.

The incident occurred at the residence of 82-year-old Vinodini, who lives alone at Shyam Sadan in Ambalpadi while her son, Praveen, works in Dubai. On the evening of September 14, an unknown man entered Vinodini’s home, insisting that she purchase a bed sheet.

According to the complaint, the household caretaker, Tulaja, noticed the situation and went to call Prashant, who was working as a plumber in the house at the time. However, by the time they returned, the intruder had fled the scene in a car.

Kiran Kumar, a friend of Praveen, lodged the complaint with the Udupi City Police, and an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
