A major traffic jam occurred on Thursday in Agumbe Ghat after a vehicle suffered a brake failure, disrupting the movement of all other vehicles in the area. The incident led to a complete standstill of traffic for over 30 minutes.

Vehicles traveling from Tirthahalli towards Udupi, as well as those heading in the opposite direction, were stranded on the road, with drivers left frustrated and struggling to move. Adding to the chaos, ambulances trying to navigate the jam also faced significant delays.

Police personnel on the scene worked tirelessly to clear the traffic and restore the flow of vehicles. Despite their efforts, the situation caused considerable inconvenience to motorists and passengers alike. The authorities are continuing to manage the situation to ensure smooth movement on the ghat.
