Kundapur: Driver sustains serious injuries after bus rams into pole

A private PU college bus, traveling from Brahmavar to Hemmadi crashed into a high-mast pole after the driver lost control of the vehicle at Thekkate Circle on NH-66 on Thursday, September 19 afternoon.

The incident reportedly took place when a two-wheeler suddenly crossed the path of the school vehicle. The driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with the high-mast pole.

The driver sustained severe injuries to his head, eyes, and hands due to the impact, while the two female students onboard suffered minor injuries. Local residents immediately rushed the injured to a private hospital in Koteshwar.

The front part of the school vehicle was severely damaged in the mishap.
