In a tragic incident near Sunkasale in Mudigere taluk, a car lost control and plunged about 30 feet into a panchayat compound, leaving three passengers seriously injured. The accident occurred early on Saturday, September 21 morning.

Reportedly the driver lost control of the vehicle at a turn owing to the thick fog conditions that obstructed visibility. The car veered off the road and fell into the panchayat yard, which is 30 feet below.

The injured passengers, tourists traveling from Bengaluru to Horanadu, have been admitted to Mudigere hospital. The car was completely wrecked due to the intensity of the crash.

A case has been registered at Balur Police Station.
