The controversy surrounding the Palestinian flag, which has caused a stir in several parts of the state, has now reached Belagavi. On Saturday, September 21, an incident occurred where a pandal resembling the Palestinian flag was erected.

In the city’s Darbar Galli, miscreants installed a pandal modeled after the Palestinian flag, along with a sword structure in front of it. Upon receiving the information, Market Police Station officers arrived at the scene and cleared the setup.

It has been reported that some youths had erected the pandal in preparation for the Eid Milad procession, which will take place on Sunday, September 22.
