Mandya: Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy stated that he would not press for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s resignation in relation to the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) case.

Speaking to the media at the Adichunchanagiri Matha in Nagamangala, Kumaraswamy emphasized that he had no intention of responding to allegations made against him until the accusations were resolved.

“I have nothing to say about CM Siddaramaiah or demand his resignation. I simply made people aware of the current situation. Our Constitution allows protection under the law. If someone has committed illegal activities, the court will give its judgment. If they are within the law, anything can happen,” Kumaraswamy remarked.

In response to accusations made by Congress leaders, Kumaraswamy said, “Some are trying to corner me. I will not demand that Siddaramaiah take moral responsibility. If the CM has not accepted moral responsibility, how can I force him to do so? Several Congress ministers have accused me of wrongdoing, but I don’t need to respond to their baseless allegations.”

The Union Minister also suggested that a conspiracy was being hatched against him but refrained from labelling it as such. “Certain individuals cannot digest the fact that I hold a central ministry. They are trying to create a rift among people, but I assure you, none of their plans will succeed. I say this with confidence in the presence of Lord Kalabhairava,” he declared.
