Kaikamba: A venomous viper, hiding under the seat of a scooter, bit a rider in Kuppepadav on Friday night.
The rider, identified as Imtiyaz, who runs a cyber center in Kuppepadav, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital.
Imtiyaz had just finished his work on the night of September 27 and visited a mosque before heading home. When he opened the seat of his electric scooter to place some documents, the snake, which had hidden underneath, bit his finger.
