Sri Sugunendra Thirtha Swamiji launches Swachh Bharat Campaign in Udupi

Udupi: Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji of Paryaya Sri Puthige Matha launched the Swachh Bharat campaign at the main entrance of Sri Krishna Matha, Udupi, on Wednesday, October 2.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Udupi district branch of the Patanjali Yoga Samiti and was attended by prominent local dignitaries.
Municipal president Prabhakar Poojary, council member Manasa Pai, the temple’s Diwans Nagraj Acharya and Ramana Acharya, and the president of the Patanjali Yoga Samiti Raghavendra Bhat were among the key figures present at the launch. Other prominent members, including Venkatesh Mehandale, Jagadeesh Kumar, Leela Ameen, and others, were also in attendance.
The initiative aims to emphasize cleanliness and hygiene, encouraging public participation in maintaining the sanctity of the temple and the surrounding areas as part of the national Swachh Bharat mission.
