Bengaluru: Youth ends life at TV actress’ residence for allegedly rejecting marriage proposal

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man ended his life allegedly because the TV actress refused to marry him.
The deceased, Madan (25), reportedly worked as a decorator in an event management firm.
According to reports, Madan got introduced to Veena who was working in TV serials, and both struck up a relationship. It is gathered that both were in a live-in relationship.
It is alleged that Veena had forced Madan several times to get married, but Madan reportedly refused the proposals.
On October 1, Veena allegedly called Madan to her house in CK Palya, where the two partied. It is also alleged that Madan proposed to Veena to get married, however, this time, she refused. Upset at the rejection, Madan went to the bathroom and hanged himself.
Madan’s parents alleged that Veena had cheated many youths on the pretext of marriage.
It is gathered that a case has been registered in Hulimavu police station and actress Veena has been detained by police for questioning.
According to sources, Veena had acted in ‘Kannadathi‘ TV serial and some commercials.
