Chitradurga: One killed, three injured in road mishap

One person was killed and three others were injured after a car lost control and crashed into the back of a truck near Javagonadanahalli in Hiriyur Taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekar (45) from Channapatna. He was the president of the Channapatna Taluk Government School Teachers’ Association.

The accident took place when Chandrashekar was traveling with his wife and two children to Davangere to enroll his son in a medical college.

Hiriyur Rural Police arrived at the scene and are investigating the accident.
