Kumara Parvatha trek likely to resume after Oct 6

Subrahmanya: Trekking to Kumara Parvatha, located within the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary near Kukke Subrahmanya, may resume after October 6, sources said.

The Forest Department has set up an online booking system for trekkers. Three trek routes are available for booking:

  • Kukke Subrahmanya – Kumara Parvatha,
  • Beedahalli (Kodagu) – Kumara Parvatha – Beedahalli, and
  • Beedahalli – Kumara Parvatha – Subrahmanya.

Dates for treks beyond October 6 have been posted online, and trekkers can choose their preferred route through the booking system.
