Bengaluru: In a significant step towards digitization, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has introduced a new faceless, contactless online E-Khata system. The system allows citizens to download over 21 lakh draft E-Khatas anytime and from anywhere.
The BBMP has fully digitized both A-Khata and B-Khata property accounts. Citizens can now download their draft E-Khata through the link: https://bbmpeaasthi.karnataka.gov.in/, eliminating the need to visit BBMP offices to obtain the final E-Khata.
According to BBMP, the process is entirely online and hassle-free. For verification, citizens need to provide their sale deed or registered document numbers, 10-digit property tax application number, Aadhar-linked e-KYC, BESCOM account number, property GPS coordinates, and a photo of the property. All these details will be electronically verified before issuing the final E-Khata.
The system is designed to ensure transparency and citizen control. If any discrepancies or objections arise during the process, citizens will only need to visit the BBMP office.
For further details, citizens can access the online platform and proceed with the required documentation for both A-Khata and B-Khata properties.
