Mangaluru: Body of missing businessman Mumtaz Ali found under Kuloor Bridge

Mangaluru: The body of Mumtaz Ali, brother of former Mangaluru North MLA Mohiuddin Bava and Chairman of Misba Group of Educational Institutions, was found under the Koolur Bridge on Monday morning.

Rescuers discovered the remains of Mumtaz Ali, who had gone missing since Sunday morning,  under the Kuloor Bridge. Rescue teams had been conducting a search operation since Sunday morning.

His brand-new BMW car was found near the Koolur Bridge on Sunday, which sparked concerns. His mobile phone and car keys were also found at the spot, leading authorities to suspect a possible suicide.

A team of seven scuba divers, including expert diver Eshwar Malpe, along with the NDRF team, were engaged in the search operation around the bridge.
