Hebri: Body of elderly woman swept away by floodwaters found

Hebri: The body of an elderly woman who was swept away by the heavy rains in the Mudradi Balladi region of Hebri taluk was found on Monday, October 7.

The deceased, identified as 85-year-old Chandra Gowdthi, had gone missing after heading to the washroom in her home. It was suspected that she might have been swept away by the floodwaters caused by the sudden torrential rain.

After a thorough search, her body was discovered in a paddy field some distance away from her house on Monday.
