Udupi: 18-yo student dies in bike-car collision near MGM College

In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old youth lost his life after a car hit his bike in front of MGM College in Udupi on Monday, October 7 night.
The deceased has been identified as Veeraj, a resident of Hiriyadka and an undergraduate student at Tenkanidiyoor College.
According to reports, the accident occurred when a car traveling from Manipal towards Udupi collided with Veeraj’s bike, which was turning towards Manipal from Udupi.
The impact caused Veeraj to fall onto the road along with his bike, resulting in severe injuries. He was rushed to the Udupi District Government Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way, according to police sources.
A case has been registered at the Udupi Traffic Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
