A complaint has been filed regarding the disappearance of a PU student who left home after his mobile phone was taken away by family members.

Muhammad Yaseen Afnaan, a 16-year-old first-year PU student at St. Raymond’s College, resides in Meginapete. He reportedly had a habit of continuously using his mobile phone.

On September 25, during a discussion at home, his family took away his phone, leading to an argument. Later, Yaseen told his family he was going to college but did not return home and has since gone missing.

He is described as 5.2 feet tall, with an oily black complexion, black hair, and an average build. He was last seen wearing a blue and green sports T-shirt, blue pants, and a silver watch on his left wrist. He speaks Tulu, Kannada, and Beary. Authorities have requested anyone with information to contact the Mangaluru South Police Station at 0824-2220518.
