Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the scion of the Mysuru royal family and Member of Parliament, and his wife Trishika Kumari, are celebrating the birth of their second son.

The baby was born on Friday, October 11, coinciding with the auspicious Ayudha Puja day.

Trishika Kumari gave birth at a private hospital in Mysuru, and both mother and child are reported to be healthy.

The royal family, already immersed in the grandeur of the Dasara festivities, now has an extra reason to celebrate with the arrival of the newest member of the family.
