Vijayendra vows to appeal to President for dismissal of Congress govt in Karnataka

Bantwal: BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra launched a scathing attack on the ruling Congress government, accusing it of widespread corruption and calling for its dismissal. He stated that BJP leaders will soon submit a memorandum to the President demanding action against the government.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday (October 15) in Bantwal, Vijayendra compared the current state of affairs to BJP’s recent victories in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.

He said that the Congress government in Karnataka has failed in just one and a half years and is drowning in corruption. The Chief Minister has admitted to the Valmiki scam in the Assembly, just as he did in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case. Despite acknowledging the mistakes, there has been no resolution, he added.

Vijayendra further criticized the government for failing to allocate funds for development and accused it of withdrawing cases against riot-accused individuals. He called this an “unforgivable crime” and vowed that the BJP would continue to protest against the “anti-Hindu and corrupt” government.

The BJP has fielded Kishore Kumar, a staunch Hindutva leader, for the upcoming legislative council elections, with Vijayendra expressing confidence in a major victory.

Prominent BJP leaders, including R. Ashoka, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Dr. Sudhakar Reddy, and district party officials, were present at the press briefing.
